Temple Grafton

Yet more romantic English cottage gardens.

These are in the village of Temple Grafton. The village takes its name from the Knights Templar who were active here.

Not a great deal in the way of herbaceous borders, but some nice roses scrambling up the cottage walls.

I was visiting Temple Grafton in order to see the church there. This is the church in which Shakespeare was married to Anne Hathaway.
